BARN CONVERSION

An early 20th century barn, once housing the village school, was extended to create a luxurious guest suite and a second bathroom to the existing bedroom.

A charming space with original fireplace and exposed beams which we painted French Grey in the origional part and smoked in the new extension to add character. 

We designed a minimalist wardrobe wall in the new guest suite with a soft-lit secret entrance to the ensuite bathroom.

Initially the client was after a strictly contemporary finish but Catrin suggested to introduce some traditional elements, in keeping with the bones of this property to create coherence across existing rooms and new extension.
